My BMW E30 318IS

Thought id post a few pics of my beamer for those interested in them as there was some interest in e30s when i posted a thread thinking about getting one

after looking around for the right one, i got this baby in november (only passed my test in march-so chuffed to have this within my 1st year on the road)

1991 318is (injection Sport), often described as being the baby m3 by entheusiasts, but i dont call it that
diamond scwartz metallic black (color changes from like a grey to dark black in different light )
all as standard which includes
m42 16v twin over head cam engine 140bhp
mtech interior,steering wheel,gear knob
15" bbs cross spoke alloys
Electric windows, mirrors, sunroof, aerial, power steering, remote central locking, all 100% working
only non standard is Bilstein shocks and Eibarch springs and the pioneer bluetooth stereo

also got the 100% complete tool kit which is very rare to have the little plastic window thing
original bmw first aid kit, warning triangle, boot tidy, glove box torch, etc

a mass load of history with it, been very well looked after with no expense spared, the previous owner had spent 13k on it over the decade he owned it, all reciepts there, the car has done 180k , but had a brand new bare head from bmw for £2200 in 2004, and a full engine rebuild, done 30k since then, so the engine is pretty much brand new and sounds very verys mooth and quiet, "the best ive ever heard" the e30 lad who came to view and look it over with me said, and its supreme in all the right places body wise, its a lovely example

its been a pleasure to own,and ive fallen in love with it, can get 35mpg driving it sensibly, but its also got the power there, very quick for a 1.8 engine when it needs to be, its awsome to punt around town in

had to be careful this winter learning driving a rwd car, iffy in the rain as its quite toruquey, some brilliant side ways action in the snow in it ,cant wait for the nicer weather so i can really start having some in it

the car really is in exceptional condition for a 1991 car, these are a fairly rare model, were limited edition, the condition of the interior really has to be seen and sat in to be belived , its like new, a true testement to the quality of bmw ! this was £16000 in 1991, and i have the original bill of sale
