The ‘88 race mille is a jacket that I have long been looking to add to my collection, and the recent addition of this one to my collection was made all the more special when I learned the history of this particular jacket and its previous owner. Click below to read more.

Stone Island Skiis 44SKI4315

While not as sought after as some of the more iconic Stone Island jackets, the Stone Island skiis have been at the top of my most wanted list. After a month of waiting, was finally able to pick them up from Italy last week. Click below for more pics.

C.P. Transformable Waistcoat-To-Rucksack

The C.P. Company transformables were the first pieces that really made me look at buying garments not just as things to wear, but as art. And really sparked my interest in to finding the older jackets I never was able to purchase when I was younger. After six months of trying to find the perfect swap, was finally able to wrangle one of these away from idp. And now that I have it, this is one that will never leave my collection. C.P. Company Summer Metropolis

Finally, my first summer UP piece. While the winter dynafil version is by far more iconic of the two, I quite like the look of the metro in the rubberized cotton. It definitely has a more modern feel and I can’t get enough of the black mask against the grey combo. Almost tempted to wear the mask out with this one. Click below to see full pics.

C.P. Company 1989 Race Collection

After 3 weeks of waiting Santa has finally arrived direct from his detour in Italy! Sure he arrived two days late and there was an ‘88 piece included but this will always be remembered as the ‘89 xmas for me. Included in the pick up were two ‘89 race milles, a ‘89 race gillet, a ‘89 race bag, and to top it off an ‘88 race shirt. Click below to see full pics. Enjoy!

Urban Protection by C.P. Company

Been a very good month for UP pieces. Managed to add both the LIFE and REM to my collection. And to celebrate , thought a proper all in one of my Urban Protection Collection would be in order. Can’t recommend these enough. They are iconic pieces that will never go out of style. And the indestructible dynafil will still look like the day they came off the factory floor.

Still for the HAMMOCK, VIEW, and YO…

LIFE - My current favorite of my UP pieces. Love the more military feel compared to the sci fi look that many of the other UP pieces have.

REM - Would have to say this is probably my least favorite of the UP pieces I have. It is quite cool that the piece transforms from a long coat to a short coat. And the mesh sleeve pocket can be very handy but the overall design just didn’t feel as special as the LIFE.

LIGHT - Definitely one of the most wearable of the UP range, but with out the torched attached the little details are easy to over look. The asymmetrical vertical zipper pocket with small compartments is a great feature. Like having cubby holes on a jacket.
