12thMan Q&A with FOUND_NYC
As many of you may have heard, I will be closing this blog and the forum on Jan 2. I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading this blog as much as I have enjoyed writing it over the years. I’d like to end the blog on a high note, so I bring you a special Q&A with 12th Man creator, Fabio Cavina.
We’ve all watched his tiny brand grow from a small one man operation to something that is about to burst onto the main scene. So without further ado I bring you my last post. Thanks for reading!

Update! The MO1/Project t-shirts are now on sale! Glad to see the Osti Studio and 12th Man collaboration finally come to fruition. The shirts celebrate the works of Massimo’s graphic design. Check out them out at MO1/PROJECT.
ARC’TERYX VEILANCE HS01 Field Jacket
It’s been a long time since I had a non Spw jacket in my closet, but was blown away with the quality of the Arc’teryx Veilance HS01. Click below to see more.
12th Man Spring ‘10 preview now online
Preview of the Spring 2010 range of 12th man t-shirts and polos is available on their site. As always great attention to detail with many new hand dyeing and printing techniques.

UPDATED: Lorenzo & Agata Osti Live Q&A Transcript.
Updated. Thank you again to the Ostis for taking the time to chat with all the FOUND_NYC members about Ma.Strum, their father and the Osti Studio’s up coming projects. Some great questions asked an answered, including the debunking of one of the biggest Stone Island myths of all time, the origins of the Stone Island name. Click below for full transcript.
Update. Now sold out. FOUND_NYC X 12th Man T-shirt.

Belstaff Dalesman Jacket
Never really been a fan of Belstaff…but browsing through this month’s Free & Easy and came across this picture of the Belstaff Dalesman. Quite like that it has the circular logo and extra two hip pockets.
Stone Island x Oki-ni

OKI-NI have long been playing Lennon to other designers’ McCartney, so it was with great anticipation I rushed to view OKI-NI’s website when I heard there was a Stone Island collaboration. Unfortunately this was more Candy Flip than Fab Four. Ok, so there’s a box with it, and it’s limited to 100 pieces, but that’s it. A wasted chance from two companies who we know can do much better..?

The Treetent

Would you pay 50,000.00 to live sleep in a tree? Saw this and immediately thought put the 000CP logo on it and might be something I’d buy. Sure it doubles as a tree house, but for 50,000.00! No thanks, would rather have the CP Tent any day. At least I could wear that one around.
12th Man T-shirt
Got my 12th Man t-shirt today and am quite pleased with the quality. The pieced came in a printed box, with a limited edition number at top. I’m usually very picky about the necks of the t-shirts I wear, but the 12th Man shirts have a nice collar material that seems like it will remain tight even after some washings. Material has an nice vintage dyed look that will go well with my new tinto.
The North Face 485 Collection

Everytime I look, seems another company is trying to compete with SPW as a high end sportswear brand. The new North Face 485 Collection is no exception.
Even with the high performance fabric tech like the Primaloft insulation and waterproof Gore-Tex, the line still falls short cause in end an ugly jacket is still an ugly jacket. And for 700-1200 usd a jacket, gets a big thumbs down.
