Rare C.P. Company Milles at C21

The TK Maxx craze just hit the USA! Finally some bargain action on this side of the pond. It has been confirmed that C21 in NYC was selling the Gortex, tinto terra, and multi-pocket milles for around 150!!!!! Spoke with the manager at one of the stores and they confirmed that they had them and a were bought out by a couple guys. Agvd and I are heading out on a SPW hunting day tommorrow and will post the findings on the forum. Wish us luck!

C.P. Company 1989 Race Collection

After 3 weeks of waiting Santa has finally arrived direct from his detour in Italy! Sure he arrived two days late and there was an ‘88 piece included but this will always be remembered as the ‘89 xmas for me. Included in the pick up were two ‘89 race milles, a ‘89 race gillet, a ‘89 race bag, and to top it off an ‘88 race shirt. Click below to see full pics. Enjoy!

C.P. Donna Mille Round-Up

The highest quality mille I have seen in a long time happend to be a C.P. Donna one I picked up for my wife. It seems that there is no lack of attention to detail on the women’s milles. Maybe women just demand more… For you gents out there thinking about picking up a mille for your other half, here’s a few of my wife’s milles to check out differnt styles. (I swear they’re not mine) Click below to see images.

C.P. Company S/S ‘06 Tinto Terra Mille

Not sure exactly what it is about tinto terra that I love so much, but mille’s do look good when made of it. Pleased with the design of the piece but noticed that C.P. is a bit bigger than SI sizing so not sure how long this will stay in my collection. Favorite feature: Contrasting fabric around the lenses. AW ‘07 Full Leather Mille FGF

The FGF version of the AW ‘07 full leather Mille is quite similar to the 47180158 SPW version. Still on the fence to which I prefer. The main difference is the leather mille hood on the FGF version and the FGF version has a more distressed worn in feel compared the waxed polished look of the 0158. Click below to see pics

Urban Protection by C.P. Company

Been a very good month for UP pieces. Managed to add both the LIFE and REM to my collection. And to celebrate , thought a proper all in one of my Urban Protection Collection would be in order. Can’t recommend these enough. They are iconic pieces that will never go out of style. And the indestructible dynafil will still look like the day they came off the factory floor.

Still for the HAMMOCK, VIEW, and YO…

LIFE - My current favorite of my UP pieces. Love the more military feel compared to the sci fi look that many of the other UP pieces have.

REM - Would have to say this is probably my least favorite of the UP pieces I have. It is quite cool that the piece transforms from a long coat to a short coat. And the mesh sleeve pocket can be very handy but the overall design just didn’t feel as special as the LIFE.

LIGHT - Definitely one of the most wearable of the UP range, but with out the torched attached the little details are easy to over look. The asymmetrical vertical zipper pocket with small compartments is a great feature. Like having cubby holes on a jacket.
