Updated:  Added new pics of IDP’s shoulder badge mod of this piece. The 4C43 is one of my favorite jackets of the season. Just picked up one in green to go along with my brown one. The official pics of this one are so far off in color, so posting side by side shots of mine.

First Impressions:
While I love vintage US army inspired field jackets, nothing beats the look of a good German field blouse. Like a field blouse these fit short and slim.

Both camos look great, but its tough to decide which is the better color. Personally, I prefer the brown, but find that the green is a more wearable color, and will get a lot more daily use.

Only real things that bothered me with this piece, is that it wasn’t a shoulder badge and the inner lining. I always prefer the all felt, non quilted ones.

    Great job as usual Gene! IIRC navy was also one of the colours for this, but it never made it to the final stage

    I also saw this Stone Island 4c43 jacket at the store in toronto called tnt. I loved it. But my question is they only had in solid colour not a camoflouge. Is that possible? I mean like the colour was only brown no camoflouge

    Steven, I’d contact Fabiomassimo on the board or fabiomassimo69 on ebay, he is selling both the green camo and the plain ones and is a trustworthy seller on the board.
