Stone Island Trainers Vs Puma Californias

Still love my California’s, but during the summer prefer to wear Stone Island trainers. Sizing can be tricky on these, so check out a side by side comparison to a Puma California. Click below to read more.

Overall, I still prefer to wear Californias with trousers, but find them too bulky to wear with shorts in the summer. The Stone Island trainers make a really good low cut shoe for wearing with shorts. The other plus side of the SI trainers, is that there are a lot of different color option. I have them in grey, white, yellow, and the reflective.

The branding on the SI trainers is subtle enough. Just a minor logo printed on the side, embossed logo on the heel, and the strap at the back.

Soles are a bit heavier, on the pumas. The SI ones have a deck shoe sole.

Shown above is a UK size 7.5 Puma and a size Euro 42 S092. Sizing can be a bit tricky on these. I wear a size UK 7.5 Puma, and size 41 Stone Island.

Whack some pics of the reflectives up G! Which colour do you have?
I’ll take the Californias off you G, if you’re not happy with em(wink)
Never really bothered to take much interest in Stone Island trainers, but these quite nice.
Although the photos look really good, I still prefer the California’s. I’ve been wearing them for years.IMO they are much better than anything Adidas have to offer.
