First Impressions:
I think one of the overall issues I have with the shadow line is that their brand concept leads you to believe it will be and innovative blend of form and function with a twist. And instead you get a gimmicky jacket that ends up just being more tacky than cool.
The design of the pieces have the possibility of being interesting, however the pockets that are revealed under the top layer really have no purpose. Most don’t even have closures and just rest on the top of the fabric so will get lumpy if you do put anything in them. Zipper on this piece is a Lampo.
The fit on this one literaly is like a box, very square shoulders and than just falls straight down. If you purchase the extra inner layer it does help add some shape to the shoulders. The fabric features a windstopper membrane but basically its the same as this the fabric on the SS08 4436. The pockets are liquid silk.
I’ve added the inner layer so people can see what the piece would look like if you got the whole set. Unless your’re a collector I would hold off on this one and get the 4XZ5(See last review) or 7ZZ4(Review coming).
