First review of the season! Not 100% sure how I feel about wearing a goat skin mille, but the piece is well made and but there are definitely sizing issues. Click below for full review.

The C.P. Company goatskin mille. Article No. 49180056.

First Impressions:
This first thing you notice about this piece is the weight. Its goat skin construction makes it feel very substantial and heavy. (A good thing) The vintage treatment is a bit like you’d find on a Scholt biker jacket. Lately a lot of the CP milles have had a lot of features going back to the first ‘88 milles: three snaps on the pocket, side and extra pen pocket, however there has been the addition of two slant side pockets. Another unusual detail is that this piece has a Lampo zipper.

The piece is mii so the construction is good, and I noticed that on the lenses they have started to use a thicker plastic. One thing to note is that this piece is fitted more for a fashion silhouette, very slim. The size L I got was only 20.5″ pit to pit. Yes 20.5″ that is no typo! Overall a well crafted piece, but not having a matching goatskin hood was a drawback, however to be honest, not sure if I’d feel comfortable putting goatskin next to my face.

Above: Similar in styling to a 1988 Mille. Three button side pockets and pen pocket on the side.

if the hood was leather it would have been superb but i think its just a gimick leather mille with a plain hood big no from me

Not a fan of leather myself, but I`m a huge fan of
the way they currently make Milles, love the side pockets as they give you a parka feel! 3 buttons on the pockets also avoids them becoming “saggy”.
L = 20.5??? Well, guess I`m buying my first XL/XXL Mille this year, not in goat-hide though, ha, ha!

Hmmm. Ive been desperate to get my hands on this and this is the first time i have seen proper pictures of it. Now im unsure. I don’t know about the non-leather hood. For £800 i would have liked it all to be leather. Maybe in the flesh though it will be the bo**ox !!
