Once again, the most interesting Spring/Summer ‘08 mille is a C.P. Donna one. The wife was quite pleased with this one, I didn’t get the usual “Don’t I already have a jacket like this?” Click below for more pics.

First Impressions
The 4H21 is one of those pieces that look so much better on than on the hanger.. This piece really should have a Serie 100 label on it rather than a C.P. Donna one. The fabric reminds me of the liquid ice combined with the feel of a toffee jacket. Attention to detail on this piece is far beyond the men’s line. And the reflective trim on the hood and lens flap is something I wouldn’t mind on one of my pieces. The shape of the 4H21 is a style my wife preferred to the other milles since it doesn’t have the large side pockets. At 1330.00 USD it’s a bit pricey, but if you consider the quality compared to what you’d pay for a mille shield, it’s well worth the price.

Above: Front of the inner of the hood is coated with the reflective material.

The best detail of this piece is reflective coating on the hood. Not to loud but gives that extra touch to make this pieces special

Above: Relective coating on front side of the lens flap.

When worn down the mille lens flap has the reflective coating. The lenses have a red brown tint.

Above: Inner mesh lining and plastic YKK zippers.

The material is very interesting on this piece. The exterior is a translucent polyurethane, but the inner mesh lining shows through for a nice effect. The zippers are plastic YKK.

    “Don’t I already have a jacket like this?” :)
Sometimes one has to wonder why CP Donna and CP baby is so much better than the Menswear, is the hood attached with poppers or via zip as on most Donna’s Milles?
PS I start thinking that your Wife has more jackets than you :)

The detail on this piece is superb. As Fabio has said, why is it that CP seem to innovate more on CP Donna than on the menswear, some really interesting stuff compared to the ’same old’ stuff coming out on the menswear label.
Almost makes me want to be a woman.

    Very nice that mate.
Definitely agree that donna CP’s have more detail than mens.
Who do they have designing the Donna range ?
