First Impressions
Like the AW07 4721 what makes this piece special is the color. As far as design goes the 4436 is a great basic jacket with out a lot of frills or extras. The sizing overall is good. The size L fit as it should have and the sleeve length isn’t as long as some other pieces. Using a nylon instead of the raso gommato cotton allows the material to breath better and makes for a better spring piece than the 4721 which ended up making you sweat a lot. The piece is made in Italy so construction is decent, however the top ends of the zipper were too sharp and can ended up scratching your face. While not the best jacket of the SS’08 collection, overall its a good staple piece and one that will get a lot of daily use.
Above: Perhaps the most interesting feature of this pieces is a neck strap that wraps the hood to make it more of a stand up collar.
