C.P. Company HPC Mille Miglia

Quite surprised when I heard that the HPC milles were cancelled. While nothing really special about the design, the return of a fully waterproof mille was a welcome change from the cookie cutter milles that have been released lately. Missed the first one that was being offered up for sale, so jumped when another one of these HPC milles popped up. Check out more pics below.

First Impressions
The best feature of this mille has to be the waterproof HPC fabric. At first glance this looks like a mille made of ventile, with taped seams giving the body and sleeves a more rigid look. It’s not till you look on the inside of the jacket, do you begin to see the difference in the fabric.

Design wise this is pretty much a standard biker mille. A few twists here and there but nothing that makes the design really that memorable. Just knowing that there are only six other of these jackets makes it worth adding to the collection.

Above: Stand up collar with a buckle closure. The stiffess of the HPC makes the collar a bit too stiff for my taste. Perhaps it will soften with wear.

Above: Hood attached by snaps. Over all shape of the mille hood is pretty standard.

    That’s AWESOME. Love jackets that have a technical spec “HPC” to em as well as being different. Up there with GoreTex Milles plus MORE exclusive

    God knows why this Mille was cancelled. I agree the design is pretty standard but HPC would have given it the edge.

    Not a patch on the three pocket proper Mig that was shown with HPC imo

    prefer the proper three pocket mille as tu said,they have it on the site did they bring it out

    got this jacket in cream sample, rarely wear it as is such a collectors piece, never put into production in cream.
